After multiple personal recommendations, we contacted Greg Dalglish in September of 2021 to begin researching the market with the hopes of purchasing a home in early 2022. Greg listened to both our needs and wants, sending ideas as soon as they hit the market and arranging showings the same day or within 24 hours. Of course, most we found interesting had offers within a few days and our house in Pasco County was not even on the market yet. Greg remained attentive and encouraging - and helped us think outside the box to find a property we loved. He was able to secure a short contingency (rare in this market!) so that we could test the market listing our home. When our home didn’t sell within the 2 weeks, Greg helped us through the disappointment and continued to advocate for us as buyers, staying in contact with the seller’s realtor daily. Our home did sell the following week, and Greg was able to re-negotiate a contract for the home we wanted even though the owner had received other offers. Once we were under contract, his patience and expertise were again tested as financing multiple parcels and non-disclosed wetland designations became concerns. Greg utilized his network to provide us with expert knowledge in both areas so that we felt comfortable moving forward. It was a roller coaster for us as we crossed each hurdle, but Greg’s calm and re-assuring demeanor combined with his attention to detail guided us through the process. He was with us every step of the way, attending inspections, researching County guidelines, patiently answering every call when we panicked, and helping us to navigate a complicated closing due to the multiple parcels of property. We got our new home with Greg during a very competitive time in the market. Though it took us a couple months of searching and a couple bidding wars, Greg's attitude and attention never changed. We were hearing about new houses hitting the market within hours of being listed. Greg did a great job of hearing what we were looking for at each and every home we visited. He had great ideas and pointed out flaws, it really felt like he was trying to help us find our dream home rather than make a sale. The house Greg ended up finding for us was quite a bit under our budget, but Greg was quick to get on the phone and let us know that it really checked all the boxes of wants and needs that we had been talking about during our search.
